dinner…by hosting a brunch featuring multiple winemakers! Join us for Ottawa’s
first-of-its-kind Winemakers’ Brunch.
While snow falls on the Rideau Canal, inside the National
Arts Centre (NAC) you will mix & mingle with several of Ontario’s top
winemakers from Niagara & Prince Edward County – each serving their finest
sparkling, white, red & dessert wines for you to enjoy with dishes from the
savoury and decadent brunch buffet created by NAC’s
Executive Chef Michael Blackie. A special event like this offers you the unique
opportunity to learn firsthand from the winemakers about their wines, winery
& their winemaking style along with food & wine pairing techniques.

Bring your special valentine to the winery for this special Valentine event! Couples
will be treated to a special tasting of the 2010 Reds slotted for bottling in
May. (Our Best Reds To-date).
Matters of
the heart — Barrel Sampling will feature full bodied reds from the Hot and Dry vintage
of 2010. Come sample what could be some of Kacaba’s
Best Reds to-date. All tasting bar proceeds and donations from this special event
weekend will be donated to the Canadian
Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Tasting and Pre-Release Sale
Weekends, February to April 2012. We will once again open our cellar doors and
invite the public to sample from tanks (stainless steel barrels) in our
winemaking production area. We will be sampling our 2011 Reserve Riesling and 2011
Rebecca Rose. This vintage is sure to please as the best Rose and Riesling
produced by Kacaba to-date.

order now before the May 2012 bottling and receive $2 off per bottle (minim
purchase 6).
2011 Reserve Riesling,
Much
more than a typical bench Riesling! Alluring notes of ripe pineapple, mango,
peach, and yellow plum intermingle and lead to a fresh balanced acidity making
for a long finish brimming with flavour. This wine
will pairs excellently with most foods but many bottles will be appreciated on their
own long before the food is served.
